Littlest Elle #282: @#$*!

I should clarify, I totally think rodents are awesome.

I just don’t like finding large dead ones in unexpected places.

Part II on Friday.

Guest Strips a-go-go!

Today’s strip is starting a run of guest strips on Littlest Elle so that I can catch up on things and give my arms a bit of a rest :)

Of course, it didn’t make sense to have other artists do a journal comic about my life… so guest strips will be other people’s journals! Maybe I’m wierd, but I think that sounds awesome!

Today we have the ever-talented Allie Kleber. Friday will most-likely be a regular Elle strip, then there a second strip by Allie, and then two strips by Jeanne (Jeanne week is running from Friday to Monday). So enjoy the efforts of my talented friends and it will be back to business as usual in October!

Which will be just in time for me to run around freaking about APE. Excellent.

SF Zinefest here I come!

Just a reminder to all and sundry in the Bay Area, I will be tabling at San Francisco Zinfest this Saturday and Sunday in Golden Gate Park (8/22-8/23 for those who think in calendar days). It’s in the County Fair building right off 9th, one of my favorite parts of San Francisco, period.

I still haven’t set up online sales, so this is a Very Exclusive Opportunity to pick up my work! Also, I am debuting a new tinyzine. It is my very first tinyzine and I am very excited about it! A preview:

In other news, The Frog Prince received its first official review recently and the “Mischief” show at Studio Gallery SF ended successfully. Thanks to all for showing their support!

oops!

So Monday’s strip hit some technical difficulties and I only just found out about that today. Sorry! Should be fixed now!

Life outside of Elle

Gosh, things have been crazy. I honestly am getting through the week hour by hour to not get overwhelmed, it’s a little intense. Outside of Littlest Elle, I’ve dived head first into my next Erstwhile project with Gina from Strawberry Comics. It’s an adaptation of All Kinds of Fur and I’ll post more about it as I get farther along, but this one is a full 34 pages and I’m taking it as a challenge to see just how well I can time manage around my jobs.

And in other “stuff I am doing” realms, locals can come check my art out at STUDIO gallery SF’s “Mischief” show, running July 15-August 9. I have two pieces hanging, one an original comic page from Catbox (shown in the link) and another print of Cinderella from my college thesis. It looks to be a great show and the gallery is super chill!
