One time I also lost an earring while departing an airport and found someone else’s lost earring in the airport I arrived at. This trumps that by about a thousand, but I consider them a related phenomenon.

So, uh. I miraculously have a camera again. It’s not quite as fancy as the one I lost (and it’s a little scuffed, likely from being kicked around the street for a while) but it’s compatible with all my old equipment.  Hello, gift horse. I will treasure you dearly.
