Littlest Elle #174: Building a New PC
A friend of mine knows someone who builds computers on the side, so I had arranged to buy the parts and go see him so he could make me a wonderful little dream machine. Good time had by all. Until he noticed the glitch when we tried to install the OS the first time.
And then when we bought a new part to troubleshoot, it turns out the glitch was something else.
All pretty normal when you’re doing this kind of thing, but I’ve had such bad luck with my past few computers that it doesn’t take much to freak me out.
This was an incredibly refreshing strip to make. It’s a simple little concept but I broke almost all my usual rules and conventions while doing it and I think the end result is quite slick.

*hug*
It only gets worse if you do not use Windows. Do not worry we have all been there.

The problem was you had Vista installed. D8
I’m a computer tech and there’s just so many bugs with vista we have to deal with. And sucks up so much ram, which is bad for photoshop and the like.

That is true actually. Half the problems would be solved by installing XP or Linux

Honestly, I’ve had almost no problems with Vista (which my work laptop runs on), or at least no more than any of the other systems I’ve used in my years of computer-dom. I was expecting DOOM and destruction and it’s been fine.

Actually, my problem is that newegg sent me faulty RAM!
That would still have been a problem no matter what OS I put on my machine.

wow that is some mighty powerful incompetence.
