Littlest Elle #24: Denshi Jisho (electronic dictionary)
So, as part of my trip to Japan, I’d purchased a little pocket electronic dictionary (thinking this brilliant, as real dictionaries are heavy). J. delighted in showing me the coolest section ever: useful phrases. Things like “how much is this?” “I am drunk!” “would you marry me?” in English with the Japanese translation below so that the businessmen and travelers using the dictionary would be set.
I, of course, went home and began to explore this section. Then the following occured:
